IBM Research is seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist specialized in the area of experiments for quantum optics.
You will work on modeling and bring-up of a cross quantum technological exploration involving photonic and microwave materials. You should have expertise in experimental quantum information and be able to work in an interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and theorists.
A Ph.D. in Physics or a related area is preferred.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Knowledge about quantum information and quantum physics-3 years
Quantum optics experiments-basic knowledge
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
System design and bring-up for optics and/or photonics system-1 year
Background in quantum optics materials-1 year
