Our Big Data Competency Center's mission is to manage Big Data infrastructure which is used by our customers to process large amounts of information. The key one is a Private Cloud solution based on Cloudera and Cisco UCS distributed environments. As the customer base is growing our technology mix still develops. Typical activities:

  • Maintenance and advanced configuration of the infrastructure

  • Installation and maintenance of data analysis tools and applications

  • New server and cluster builds

  • Daily OS administration (user/incident/change management)

  • Disaster recovery tests

  • Performance management

  • Problem investigations

  • New customer's on-boarding and T&T activities

  • Special projects

Required:

  • Advanced Linux skills (RHCE level preferred, with deep understanding of clustering)

  • Very good Hadoop and Cloudera skills (or Hortonworks and BigInsights)

  • Quick & flawless problem resolution under time pressure

  • Readiness to develop new skills and qualifications

  • Good communication in English and team-working skills
