The Project Manager (PM) will lead a team of 50 – 60 to deliver HR IT system services to a federal client. The PM is responsible for running all aspects of projects, working with the client, key stakeholders, project team members, and senior management to meet both client and IBM’s expectations. Primary duties include –

  • Handle and lead client communications and run day-to-day customer interactions.

  • Work with and manage a large technical team to include matrixed staff including subcontractors.

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead all aspects of the release to include schedule, costs, and scope.

  • Ensures all objectives, deliverables, and technical requirements are completed while meeting the quality objectives of the project.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.

  • Identify and manage to Performance and Management metrics.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and management.

  • Provide reporting to all partners.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 7+ years’ experience managing Federal IT systems, programs and/or software.

  • Experience managing ERP projects including new implementations, enhancements, and integrations.

  • Experience managing complex tasks under tight budget and time constraints.

  • Knowledge of technical data processing procedures, policies, and best practices.

  • PMP certification

  • Ability to obtain an public trust clearance.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Experience managing Federal Human Capital and Talent Management Suite technical implementations, configurations and/or integrations (e.g., SuccessFactors, Oracle Peoplesoft, Cornerstone).

  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.

  • Experience with system accreditation process.
