IBM Application Consultant in Norway

Job Description

Senior QRadar specialist for product professional security services team are specialized in the implementation of QRadar and will support IBM customers all over Europe. The specialist should have understanding and experience in one of the core security domains (Security Strategy Risk and Compliance; Identity Management; SOC Enablement/Operations & SIEM; Application and Data; Infrastructure Endpoint and Mobile Security) and should be able to speak across the landscape as well. The specialist should have a good base of security knowledge and IT infrastructural knowledge.

This will be the base needed for the product implementations.

Specialists will be focused and trained on one or two products and so will be the best of the best on their subjects.

Location: Oslo

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Security Domain Skills

  • Knowledge / experience in one or more of the core security domains: Security Strategy Risk and Compliance; SOC Enablement & Operations; SIEM, Application and Data;

  • An understanding of contemporary and legacy security technologies used within a particular domain (e.g. Firewalls, IDS, Firewalls, IAM, SIEM)

  • Understanding of the security challenges customers are facing.

The successful product specialist will build a trusted advisor roll towards the customer. The consultant will assist in pre-sales, sales, deal closure, and the delivery of software implementation services.

Fluent in Norwegian and English is required.
