IBM Client Representative – Commercial in Hong Kong

Job Description

IBM is searching for top-quality candidates to fill Client Sales roles for Commercial sector. These exciting positions are customer facing, Sales positions. The IBM Client Rep drives the sale of Software, Hardware, and Services opportunities with our clients through the orchestration of hardware, software and services Sales Specialists, as well as other IBM resources.

A qualified candidate is a professional with a strong business acumen who thrives on leading sales initiatives and closing business deals; is able to build long term professional relationships; manage customer satisfaction; and possesses the technical ability to help develop business solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience should include:

• Sales Experience in the industry in particular dealing with complex deals

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);

• Able to work in a team environment.

• Bachelor's Degree

• English: Fluent

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • English, Cantonese and Mandarin language knowledge;

  • People manager experience;

  • Deep knowledge of different Go To Market Models (autonomous Channel - one to many, value add channel, direct sales, digital sales, etc...);

  • Relevant experience in SW (Analytics, Cloud, Security, Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS), SaaS, Services;

  • Proven solution sales experience in particular Complex deals;

  • Market knowledge - at least one industry knowledge;

  • Deep knowledge of IT trends (Cloud, Analytics, Industry Specific Business solutions...)

  • Good communication, presentation skills & negotiation skills;

  • Ability to present vision to clients and present IBM technology leadership in front of client

  • Maintain IBM position on market and gain market share in a certain territory
