The role of the DPE is critical to the success of IBM and is the cornerstone to Service Delivery Excellence. As clients demand more from their partners, the business must evolve to stay ahead of change that affects success. IBM must constantly revalidate roles to ensure delivery to commitments, growth of the business and an increased financial position.

In this role you will be the single point of contact to the PE for delivery and will have a dotted line relationship to the PE. THis will see you partner with PE in attainment of PE financial and client satisfaction targets (per DOU/SOWs). You will be involved in contract solutions and will ensure you are familiar with the client's business so you can participate in opportunity identification.

The DPE is the overall leader of the service delivery team, responsible to balance quality and cost management of service delivery areas and for audit-readiness for service delivery. Other duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Integrator of services to meet service level agreements and budgets

  • Responsible to bring service delivery operational innovation examples in use on the account to the client on a monthly basis during the Client Delivery Plan (CDP) review.

  • Responsible for service quality, service delivery performance and drives service excellence

  • Advocate to service delivery for PE and Client and negotiates for proper funding for service delivery

  • Responsible for defining and owning the Service/Quality Improvement plan
