IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an experienced Project Manager with subject matter expertise in IBM Maximo to join our consulting team - a tremendous opportunity to work with some of the world's most essential companies across a variety of industries.
Use consulting skills, business knowledge and package solution expertise to effectively manage and deliver projects in a client business environment
Build and manage client relationships including C-suite
Work with clients to establish project policies, procedures, communications, schedules, plans and deliverables
Create, maintain and drive task level detailed project plans that are built to deliver based on statement of work, resource plan, effort estimate, and communication plans that drive schedule for all project phases including discovery, initiation plan, build, execute and completion
Maintain project risk issues, actions and escalations as required to maintain scope, delivery and budget
Manage project scope, financials including cost, revenue GP and change control process
Manage and mentor project team members while ensuring on time delivery and deliverable quality
Ensure project is delivered on-time and on-budget
Schedule project review meetings
Schedule and lead all project meetings including status meetings, monthly financial reviews and RAID (Risk Action Issues Decisions) reviews
Manage and maintain PMO activities including deliverable tracking, resource planning, financial forecasting, invoice delivery and tracking
Provide subject matter expertise to the team for all project activities including delivery content and quality, client communications, workshop coordination and delivery, conflict resolution and design disputes / guidance
A successful candidate is self-confident, self-reliant and a self-starter with the ability to communicate and defend a position credibility. Attention to detail and ability to manage to tight timelines are keys to success. Experience as an implementation Consultant is preferred.
In this role you will interact directly with clients and are required to travel within North America. Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA are preferred locations but all locations considered.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 4 years of experience working with IBM Maximo solutions
At least 4 years of experience in project management of full life cycle package solution implementations
At least 4 years of experience in project management processes, methods and tools
At least 5 years of experience creating and delivering project level documentation (i.e. client briefs, reports, deliverable templates, logs and statuses, etc)
At least 5 years of experience in a manager or leader role of peers or direct reports
Experience working in an organized, structured manner with excellent team communication skills
Experience building client relationships with entire project team up through C-suite
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Power Point, Word and Excel
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 8 years of experience working with IBM Maximo solutions
At least 8 years of experience in project management of full life cycle package solution implementations
At least 8 years of experience creating and delivering project level documentation (i.e. client briefs, reports, deliverable templates, logs and statuses, etc)
At least 5 years of experience in management consulting
Experience working with clients in one or more of the following industries: Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, Distribution or large fixed asset organizations
Experience in an Agile environment
Certified Maximo Deployment Professional
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
