Who you are:
Currently seeking Business Intelligence (BI) Developers who will become part of a team that provides IT support to the IBM Finance Indirect Tax (IDT) and Treasury organizations. You will help us build, enhance and maintain our WW Tax Compliance Portal and reporting environment, using skills such as SQL queries, Cognos reporting, TM1 dimensional cubes, Cloudant (noSQL) and SPSS models. In addition, you will have an opportunity to learn and support Cognitive solutions using IBM Bluemix, Watson and other tools to provide Predictive/Cognitive Analytical services.
What you’ll do:
Design, develop, deploy and maintain the IT Technical Reporting Solution
Demonstrate a clear pride of ownership for the IT Technical Reporting solution
Actively participate in the Agile and DevOps development process
Propose new ideas, relentless focus on quality and continuous improvement
Perform root cause analysis of technical and process issues
Looking for basic skills with:
3+ years Business Intelligence Development experience
Statistics, reporting and analytics using technologies such as Cognos, Python and R
Big data platforms such as Hadoop / Spark
Database such as SQL / noSQL
Agile Development Practices (Scrum), Behavior Driven and Test Driven Development
Statistics and Analytics tools such as SPSS, SAS, Alteryx, Rapidminer and WEKA
Excellent communication skills and proven problem solving experience
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
