We are seeking a core team member of the Asia Pacific Pension Team who is able to:
Assist in the management of the pension operations and Pension Board affairs for 1-3 countries. Work closely with various stakeholders (including HR, Pension Board, Accounting, external service providers) to ensure smooth operations of the funds.
Assist in the management of all aspects of controls and compliance requirements of pension plan/ fund management activities, including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), IBM Corporate Instructions and investment guidelines. Closely monitor the Funds for any issues, and work closely with various service providers (i.e. Fund Managers, Custodians, Administrators, Auditors) to resolve the issues.
Monitor the investment performance of pension funds on a monthly basis. Assist in the research relating to the investment performance of the various markets on a monthly basis.
Provide support in various pension fund management projects, including the review of investment strategies and the review of fund managers.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Preferably minimum 2 years of experience in pension, investment or actuarial-related fields
Keen interest to learn, and good analytical skills
Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
High attention to detail
Preferably with project management experience
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
