Job Description

This role is responsible for operational activities required for the smooth functioning of the business at the Country. He/she will support the Q2C Country manager on the business engagement, management, planning and reporting.

Candidate will lead contract management activities in order to achieve the individual, portfolio or cluster client contract performance targets, in compliance with the terms and conditions of the client contract. The role also ensures risks to the contract's business objectives are effectively managed and compliance with IBM business controls policies are being met. They interface with both internal and external stakeholders, leading and managing contract management processes using the approved WW standard systems, tools, processes and metrics. They provide advisory support to Project Executives/Leaders and have in depth knowledge of the client business environment, maintaining a direct client relationship.

Responsibilities :

  • Helps the Q2C Country manager in managing relationship with the stakeholders by attending stakeholder interlocks, understands the issues raised and helps the teams in resolving these issues.

  • Acts as operations focal to the Q2C Country manager closely interacting to ensure alignment to Q2C mission, provides reports to the Market activities.

  • Support the Q2C Country manager with operational issues in the CoEs as well as escalations and cadences.

  • Works with the business and execution teams to ensure periodic reporting on operations requirements and also be responsible to provide key engagement statistics and view to senior management and executives.

  • Interfaces and manages relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Leads contract management activities at the individual client contract and/or cluster/portfolio level to achieve contract performance targets, using approved standard worldwide systems and tools

  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement and developing, enhancing and executing contract management processes using standard worldwide systems and tools

  • Ensures and oversees the implementation of governance for a new contract based on IBM Processes and Contract requirements

  • Understands and ensures compliance with the terms and conditions of the client contract

  • Ensures compliance with IBM business controls policies

  • Manages project risks and issues to the business objectives


Role involves working with Operations and Management Teams on a day to day basis.

  • Candidate should be able to visualize the operational requirements of the entire team and work proactively on the same.

  • Excellent data analysis skills. Being able to critically assess information from numerous sources and synthesise the key points to create a meaningful and accurate response

  • Develop high rapport and maintain excellent working relationship with the delivery and business teams to achieve smooth operations.

  • Strong organisational skills and time-management capabilities, as well as written and verbal communications skills.

Education, Experience Required

  • Education Required: Bachelor Degree or a related experience.

  • Years of Experience: 1-3 years of project management experience

  • Excellent Business Acumen –knowledge regarding application of financial concept, knows the IBM policy/practice/procedure and knows IBM vision/mission/strategy.

  • Highly analytical and excellent decision-making skills

  • Excellent negotiation skills, Results-driven, A team player
