BM GBS has an opportunity for a GDPR Architect in its Financial Sector, leading technical compliance activities for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy laws and regulations . The GDPR Architect should be a driven self-starter who is prepared to work as a leader across platform teams, and as a technology and solution adviser to oversee cross platform and cross application integration of GDPR solutions. Pragmatic experience in privacy compliance is strongly desired. Responsible for developing the Enterprise architecture and design guidance for organizational compliance with Global Data Privacy Requirements (GDPR) and will provide leadership on the technical components required. Act as a technical liaison between DBG, PMO (including Common Services), and CDO to drive progress and attain a readiness posture.
Act as a trusted technology adviser who can speak to the privacy landscape, disparate architectural models and solutions, and underlying data flows and areas of technical concern that will result in compliance with GDPR. The architect should be an effective communicator, possessing the ability to create and distill high-quality technical content, to discuss and present to senior executives, and to work directly with teams seeking to comply with GDPR regulations. For this opportunity, proven knowledge and experience in the core privacy domain is strongly desired. The architect should also be able to speak to the breadth of the landscape across areas of compliance concern, from information and database architecture, to data flows, to integration across technology stacks and life-cycles, and to web architecture and network topologies. The architect will provide subject matter expertise through delivery of online and face-to-face work sessions to position teams to ensure ongoing compliance of their offerings. Candidates should have the ability to generate high quality artifacts such as requirements artifacts, high level and detailed designs and deployment plans.
