The Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for directly supporting the Sales Directors throughout the entire sales cycle and participates in market development activities by identifying and assisting with initiatives to increase market penetration and increase sales for the Payer Solutions business of IBM Watson Health in a Business-to-Business (B2B) environment. This position will align with a specific territory (i.e., customer type, geographic).
The Digital Sales Specialist will be responsible for demonstrating a thorough understanding of the designated territory/customer base (buying cycles, pain points, unique characteristics, industry/regulatory impact on the buyer, factors contributing to successful email hit rates). This role requires a demonstrated ability to successfully generate qualified sales leads and opportunities within the Health Plan market and experience with the unique Health Plan business structure. The Digital Sales Specialist must also have a solid understanding and working knowledge of the Business Development Associate core responsibilities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
4 years of demonstrated success in sales, account management, or business development.
4 years experience in lead generation in the Health Plan market.

5 years experience in lead generation in the Health Plan market.
2 years previous use of Salesforce.com preferred
