IBM GBS is looking for a Solution Architect and project manager for implementing Oracle Business Intelligence applications in on premise, hosted and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as a Service.

The candidate responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Participate in leading Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Application proposal solutions

  • Manage large scale implementations of Oracle BI Applications and Oracle BI / Oracle Analytics Cloud

  • Capability to manager offshore development team

  • Develop with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g

  • Develop Requirements analysis

  • Develop Technical design solution for Oracle BI Applications in ODI 11g

  • Lead Development and Unit Testing Activities

  • Develop production go-live plans and work closely with the Operations team to deploy the solution

  • Perform trouble shooting and break-fix for all defects

Knowledge in these additional skills is a plus:

  • Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)

  • Essbase

  • Hyperion Financial Management

  • Hyperion Planning

  • Machine learning experience

  • Python

  • Oracle R and Java programming capability

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 3 years of experience in design & development in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

  • At least 5 years of experience working with Oracle BI Applications (HR, Finance, Procurement & Spend, Supply Chain & Order Management)

  • At least 3 years of experience in Oracle BI 12c

  • At least 5 years of hands on experience in data Integration and ability to investigate source data models

  • At leastt 5 years of hands on experience in Data Modeling

  • At least 5 years of understanding of Oracle BI 11g/12c Architecture

  • At least 5 years of understanding of Oracle BI 11g/12c Metadata Modeling

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Certification and experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud or Oracle BI Cloud Service

  • At least 1 year experience with Oracle Data Visualization Desktop

  • Understanding of Oracle Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a service offerings (IaaS, PaaS, Compute Cloud Service, Storage Cloud Service)

  • Significant domain knowledge in either HCM, ERP or SCM

  • Familiarity with Oracle eBS or Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP/SCM

  • Experience working with and architecting Master Data Management solutions
