IBM Receptionist Internship @ IBM in ROMA, Italy

Job Description

The IBM Receptionist is the face of our company. This is a multifaceted role, which interfaces with both our external customers and employees on a daily basis.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

Greet and direct office visitors.

Assist visitors in finding their party, i.e., contact IBM employee, provide directions to location, explain layout of the building.

Keep reception area organized.

Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.

Maintain visitor/contractor sign in book and ensure that all visitors sign in and receive a badge. Request badge access

The visitor sign in book reflects the professionalism of the company and therefore it is imperative that this book be kept professionally.

Participate in weekly audits of badges and ensure that there are no badges outstanding in order to be compliant with our Business Controls and Security obligations.

Assist IBM Security as required.

Fluent English is required
