As Watson Health Technical Sales Client Engagement Specialist you will be supporting the sales of solutions that will transform healthcare & life sciences with cognitive computing. You will be an industry expert, someone who is looked upon to lead the way and navigate change and who understands major trends in life sciences/biotech.

Your responsibilities include:

  • A client facing role defining solutions and be a trusted advisor for our Life Sciences (Pharma, Biotech, Med Devices) clients

  • Sell and deliver new opportunities with existing and new clients in the area of Research, Clinical development, and Commercial Operations, Safety and Regulatory Compliance.

  • Provide on-going business development to achieve targets and goals to grow and expand our offerings within the global Life Sciences industry.

  • Provide industry expertise for key customer engagements during sales cycle.

  • Participate in account planning and support qualified lead generation from sales team

  • Collaborating with development and marketing team's to create demonstrable assets that are used during the sales process including support Proof of Concept / Proof of Technology with clients

  • Leading the solution design and support transition to delivery teams

  • Participate in RFI / RFP responses and clients orals presentations

  • Understand the regulatory issues in market (ie. HIPAA, 21CFR11, GxP, etc.) via cloud, hybrid & on premise as required

  • Managing the client relationship from ideation to implementation

  • Proven high performing, experienced technical sellers who can engage with customers, build relationships and have the business acumen and strategic thinking to identify business challenges and how to solve them

  • Compelling story tellers who can demonstrate the vision, power and scope of cognitive computing as it applies to solving issues confronting senior leaders in the Life Sciences industry

  • Experience selling business analytics, cognitive computing, natural language processing or artificial intelligence

  • Experience selling to Integrated Pharma / Biotech / Med Device clients

  • Proven track record of selling to stake holders at the C-suite level

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions and Services

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience with industry aligned selling

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience :

  • Minimum of 8 years of technical sales experience with industry aligned selling

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience with industry aligned selling

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 8 years of technical sales experience with industry aligned selling
