IBM Talent Acquisition Support Manager in RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, North Carolina

We are currently seeking a dynamic leader to manage the day to day operations of the US based Talent Acquisition Coordinators and Interview Schedule Coordinators. This team is responsible for a full range of administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Partners including managing the flow within the Applicant Tracking System, coordinating interviews, preparing offer letters, managing pre-employment checks, and preparing for onboarding.

This position will work closely with the Sr. Manager of US Process & Support Excellence to ensure a quality candidate and manager experience with the hiring process.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Managing a team of 20+ Talent Acquisition and Scheduling Coordinators

  • Balancing workload and alignment of resources

  • Resolving operational issues and escalations

  • Ensuring that cycle times are met and evaluating performance to ensure metrics are achieved

  • Driving a high level of client satisfaction

  • Collecting and providing ongoing feedback to team as well as management

  • Holding regular team meetings as well as 1:1’s with team

  • Using agile and design thinking methodologies

  • Developing and facilitating ongoing training for the two functions

  • Ensuring compliance with process and controls

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements which transform and simplify the hiring process

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, client focus, and be a team player. This individual should work well under pressure and be adaptable to change. Excellent communication, strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills are a must. Knowledge of IBM recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes is helpful.

Position will be based at RTP, NC site.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 2 years experience resolving customer issues

  • At least 2 years experience in a large corporate, high volume, fast paced environment

  • At least 2 years experience in evaluating and optimizing processes

  • At least 2 years experience in a large corporate enterprise Talent Acquisition organization

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, HR, or related field

  • At least 2 years experience managing a team
