Solicits regular feedback from business customers and IT teams to understand how well each information system is serving its business customers and recommends improvements
Stays abreast of relevant business and technology trends in order to evaluate new/future information system capabilities
Follows the architecture development methodology established by Enterprise Architecture
Ensures that the assigned information systems have a documented current state and when necessary, a future state
Identifies opportunities to share and reuse business applications and other information system components across information system portfolio
Fills the role of solution architect on projects, particularly for assigned information systems
Consults on development projects to harmonize systems and identifies when it is necessary to change the organization’s systems
Works with the Solution Architects to improve the quality of information about and within these systems
Serves as a key member of appropriate architecture governance processes
Is an advocate of EA principles to all information system stakeholders
Demonstrate considerable poise and business maturity to perform effectively and add value in the client environment as well as internally at both the executive level as well as the end user level. This is a highly challenging position that draws heavily upon all of the analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills required to deliver analytically based strategic consulting services to Employers and Health Plans.
Work with the business unit leaders, offering management, sales team and consulting leadership to develop the strategy and development process to identify growth opportunities and develop new offerings to meet market demands around their key area of expertise.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years experience in a healthcare consulting environment.
7+ Years experience working with senior level influencers
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
10+ years work experience in healthcare analysis and/or consulting, including a strong understanding of reimbursement methodologies, contract language, negotiation strategies, financial modeling analysis, managed care and Medicare Advantage plans
Minimum of seven years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following technical disciplines: network design, application development, middleware, servers and storage, database management, and operations
