Watson is on the hunt for an experienced campaign manager, ready for a role that will prepare him or her for a first line manager responsibility in the near term. This person knows campaign strategy inside and out and, as a campaign manager, has demonstrated full command of

  • planning and executing paid media

  • marketing automation - can design effective nurture including connecting event and digital

  • web design and digital engagement in the context of a complete buyer journey

  • RLM - can design and execute an RLM strategy that drives campaign outcomes

  • engaging geo/market teams as a WW campaign leader

This talented data-driven marketer is laser-focused on creating and nurturing leads through the sales and marketing funnel and manages demand generation campaigns for the Watson Data & AI portfolio. In this role, you are responsible for bringing cross-functional teams together to attract, convert, and nurture leads to close.

A successful candidate will be a dynamic self-starter with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns at once while meeting deadline driven commitments. You should have an inquisitive and strategic mind but also a keen sense of tactics like marketing automation, social media, paid media management, landing page design, and sales enablement. You will work closely with the events team to build a successful, sustainable pipeline of leads and customers from events and track progress towards goals.

This is a role for an individual who is ready to jump in and go, to bring fresh ideas and stretch the boundaries of IBM marketing. Adaptability and agility is a must. This individual MUST have an in-depth working knowledge and demonstrated success in working across WW and local IBM Marketing teams.


  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).

  • Develop and manage demand programs with agency to maintain presence in market and optimize all parts of the funnel

  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).

  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.

  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.

  • Manage the relationship between the global WW Watson marketing team and the individual local executing markets in geos

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years of experience in a technology marketing setting.

  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.

  • Proficiency in inbound digital marketing, marketing automation, media and RLM

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Masters Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in a technology marketing setting.
