IBM SAP Ariba Lead Managing Consultant in New York, New York

Job Description

The Ariba Lead Managing Consultant is expected to lead the design, implementation and deployment of SAP Ariba On-Demand solutions, both Upstream (Sourcing, Contracts, etc.) and Downstream (Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Ariba Procurement Content, etc.)

In this role you will have the following responsibilities: Combine deep Source to Pay process expertise with expert level knowledge of Ariba applications to articulate and present Supply Chain solutions to client's at the executive level. Help IBM's clients to transform their Supply Chains to world class level using Ariba applications. Lead teams in translating client requirements into to/be designs that leverage the best practices embedded with in Ariba applications. Lead the configuration, testing and deployment of Ariba solutions. Participate in sales opportunities by conducting opportunity assessments, answering functional questions regarding Ariba’s software and providing Ariba focused sales materials. Act as an ambassador to the IBM Ariba community through knowledge sharing, mentoring and networking.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least five years Source to Pay process experience

  • At least five years of technical knowledge of Ariba solutions and products

  • At least four full life-cycle implementations of Ariba applications

  • At least three years experience of Ariba integration with backend ERP systems

  • At least five years experience in team lead role

  • At least five years experience in a consulting role

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • At least eight years Source to Pay process experience

  • At least eight years of technical knowledge of Ariba solutions and products

  • At least six full life-cycle implementations of Ariba applications

  • At least six years experience of Ariba integration with backend ERP systems

  • At least eight years experience in team lead role

  • At least eight years experience in a consulting role

  • At least three years experience with SAP SRM, Sourcing/CLM or SNC
