The IBM Assistant Video Producer will be responsible for creating cohesive video experiences for various forms of online content. The work will range from editing fully developed storyboards to creating your own unique edits based on your own fun style. The successful applicant will have:

  • a knack for storytelling through video

  • an understanding of comedic timing

  • the ability to visualize the final product at inception and know how to work with motion graphics to add the final touches to your story

  • a comfort level working with audio and can use music to your advantage when trying to create the right rhythm

  • skills as a superb collaborator with the ability to take direction or ask for direction when needed, as well as completely develop projects on your own

  • a solid showreel that shows you have done all the above.

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 1 year professional experience as a Video Editor

  • Must include a portfolio of strong work and experience

  • Expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Cloud Suite

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe After​ ​Effects

  • Experience with studio cameras, lighting, and audio

  • Experience with live video switching and video streaming
