The Analyst and Law Enforcement SME is the IBM i2 Enterprise Insight Analysis client facing lead with a credible law enforcement background. This person will gather use cases and translate them for developers, provide best practices for using EIA in investigations at NYPD, and build solid relationships between the IBM and NYPD teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Demonstrated understanding of EIA components, such as I2 Analyze, Analyst’s Notebook, Identity Insight
Understands the way data is organized
Ability to translate high level requirements into detailed solution requirements which drive a development stream of work to deliver on a roadmap that is meeting customer needs
Ability to understand different data sources and concepts used by intelligence analysts and crime investigators
Experience with intelligence analysis tools; i2 and Palantir preferred
Former law enforcement (20+ years)
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 5 years of experience with SQL
Familiarity with enterprise software systems and their deployment
Highly organized and enjoys problem solving
Demonstrated team player and contributor
Self-starter and confident to be the leader of your domain and ability to set and achieve realistic goals
