Business Unit Introduction:

IBM Global Technology Services (GTS) helps clients plan, implement and manage an efficient, resilient, flexible IT infrastructure. IBM GTS is the partner of choice for infrastructure services – be it transformational outsourcing tied to business outcomes or integrated managed services or discrete services.

Who You are:

You will be responsible for providing IT Security Services to clients within the IBM Security Services Managed Security Services organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Proven experience in networking (TCP/IP, OSI model, LAN/WAN, cabling and data transmission types, network topologies, routing protocols, and remote access methods).

  • Proven understanding of Infrastructure and Endpoint security (Information Security and Event Management (SIEM), firewalls/routers, proxies, endpoint security, and privileged ID management)

  • Security Best Practices and Regulations

  • Technical, business and strategic leadership

  • Project Management

  • Should have experience in People Management

  • Ability to interact with staff, peers and customers on a technical and professional level

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Proven understanding of customer service related performance metrics

  • Drive Continuous Improvement in the team along with metrics improvement

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10 to 12 years of IT Security Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Client Relationships - Building and Maintaining

  • Proven experience in working with International (North American or European) customers, preferably enterprise class.

  • Proven understanding of the Strategic Outsourcing industry, best practices and offshoring models.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Proven experience in Operating System Skills

  • Proven experience in Unix/Linux system administration level knowledge

  • Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)

  • Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
