IBM IBM Security Services Project Manager in MARKHAM, Ontario

Location for the position: Toronto, Markham or Ottawa

The Security Services Project Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of engagements for IBM Security Services. Projects may consist of multiple workstreams of Managed Security Services (MSS) and/or Consulting & Systems Integration (C&SI) projects. A Project Manager is responsible for delivery excellence, proper communication with the client and the IBM teams.

This role provides an opportunity to work with world class clients and world class IBM security products and services. Candidates must be passionate about security and be willing to become familiar with the suite of IBM Security products. Candidates must be willing to travel 25%.

Responsibilities include:

· Build and maintain demonstrated client relationships at all levels

· Proactively work with clients to align the security services to their business objectives, priorities and directions

· Manage to the contractual cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • English Fluent (verbal and written)

  • Must have Secret L2 clearance

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident

  • At least 3-5 years experience in a Project Management role

  • At least 3-5 years experience in managing stakeholder relationships from various internal teams and vendors

  • At least 3 years experience in and a demonstrable track record of successful project management through the project management lifecycle

  • Readiness to travel 25% travel annually

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 3-5 years of prior experience with a Security Consulting background

  • 3-5 years of prior experience developing, planning, executing and completing multiple projects simultaneously

  • 3-5 years of prior experience complex projects including developing proposals, setting budgets, project planning and implementation

  • Prefer candidates who have previously received their PMP or Associate PMP and / or are in the process of completing their PMP certification
