Job Description

The role of the Executive Compensation Program Specialist / Senior Specialist is to support all compensation program cycle and off cycle activities for a set of businesses.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to ) :

1) Manage executive cash , equity and incentive cycles for one or several businesses : issuing review spreadsheets, providing guidance to management, ensuring compliance to corporate guidelines and funding

2) Propose executive compensation packages for new hires, promotions, relocations, incentive plan changes or to support retention actions

3) Prepare transaction proposals within our executive compensation systems and obtain appropriate level of approvals as required per the policy guidelines

4) Evaluate and monitor the banding of new/changing executive roles

5) Work with the HR/BT&L Leaders in managing executive movements/transactions aimed at achieving executive headcount plans

6) Perform regular reconciliation with the incentive team for executives who move on and off sales plan

7) Produce on demand analysis of executive pay competitiveness and other dynamics for a target individual / job role / executive peer group

8) Partner and influence stakeholders and clients who maybe located in other geographies

9) Develop and implement approved compensation proposals/recommendations

10) Provide support and guidance to managing executives and to HR leaders on matters pertaining to IBM’s executive compensation programs and policies

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • English: Fluent

Preferred

Skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience required in HR, preferably in a role supporting business unit managers / executives

  • Previous experience in compensation preferred

  • Fluency in English required; Strong communication skills required – with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely to senior management

  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in use of spreadsheets required

  • Ability to interface with a cross-border HR teams required

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills required

  • Self-initiative, independent, resourceful, reliable with high level of integrity.

  • Able to deal with sensitive information

  • Attention to detail with a focus on high level of quality in personal work.

  • Must be adaptable to working with cross border teams/clients, time zones, and flexible working times, as business needs may require.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, while easily adapting to new assignments, systems, tools;

  • Maintains a positive working relationship with peers, management, and clients, displaying willingness to understand diverse points of view

  • Assumes ownership of assignments, completing commitments on time

  • Possess self-initiative, independent, resourceful, reliable with high level of integrity

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree
