IBM are seeking an Automation Delivery Lead who will be responsible for leading client facing delivery, methodology development and team management within our IBM Automation team

Throughout the delivery phases, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and working with account leadership in the identification of further sales opportunities to develop the account. You will support sales opportunities and the continual development of IBM Automation offers. You will manage, coach and mentor resources on client projects and internally. The successful candidate will work cross sector in agreement with practice partners and leadership group.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Hold an established reputation and delivery record having (likely) worked as a business operations professional or in a consulting services company

  • In depth understanding of RPA solutions ideally in a wider customer experience/cost take out transformation

  • Delivered RPA at scale (50+ automations) and have an appreciation of cognitive technologies and how this forms part of an Intelligent Automation journey

  • Developed methodology in line with Robotic Operating Model principles

  • Demonstrate ability to set up Automation Operating models at large organisations

  • Demonstrable track record of engagement and selling at c-suite level and to line of business leaders outside of the IT domain of RPA and related productivity/performance improvement outcomes

  • Able to develop and communicate effectively the business case for productivity and automation programmes

  • Recognised in the RPA UK community as a leader with strong relationships with vendors

  • Mathematical and detailed mind set

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Delivery experience of operational transformation/ RPA projects is desirable

  • Management and coaching experience of junior resources

  • Technical understanding of RPA software architecture, infrastructure, coding practices etc.

  • Versed in target operating models, cost reduction, lean, six sigma

  • Experience across multiple sectors and industries
