Job Description

Role Overview:

This role functions, in a team providing services to a client, multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex storage delivery environments. Interacts frequently with clients, vendors and management to ensure high level of client satisfaction. Acts as a resource and point of escalation for team members. Engages in identifying and resolving complex problems relating to networks daily operations and project delivery. This role needs to have a strong technical background and ability to learn and/or work with multiple tool sets.

Candidate should have a background in support of Mainframe environment for multiple multinational and large customers.

S/390 operating system – overview

REXX – Read, write and trace

TSO/ISPF – Basic usage, read and write pipes

MVS – Operator skills, read syslog, GSD difference

JES – JES2/JES3 commands, NJE, initiator automation

OPC, CICS, IMS, Tape management, JCL, Networks
