Job Description

IBM Security is looking to hire a MaaS360 and Cloud Identity Sales Specialist, covering the Industrial Market . Individuals who has demonstrated skills in generating business within the Fortune 1000 organizations, who have an insatiable hunger to learn, are extremely organized, and can persuade the thoughts and opinions of others are encouraged to apply.

The MaaS360 and Cloud Identity Sales Specialist is responsible for generating and closing business by designing sales strategies for the market, and leading sales cycles with clients. New and unique ways to uncover business opportunities is encouraged and expected. This position will be required to build and maintain relationships with IBM portfolio sellers and business partners to penetrate customers and drive revenue for MaaS360 and Cloud Identity.

Additional responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your pipeline

  • Prospect corporate leads and self-generated opportunities; validates, qualifies and prioritizes opportunities

  • Maintain a high level of IBM solution expertise and competitive intelligence

  • Provide compelling product demos emphasizing service features and benefits, discussing contract terms, quoting prices, and preparing sales orders

  • Develop internal relationships with all functional areas within IBM including Business Partners

  • Work with other sellers and cross functional teams as needed to create an effective solution for the client

  • Ability to execute proficient sales demo/meetings in front of C Level and E Level customers.

  • Ability to train others on messaging and product specific details.

  • Ability to comprehend and articulate requirements from customers, that may be unclear and disorganized.

  • Hold a proven track record of completing tasking on time.

  • Ability to build consistent new revenue pipeline; account penetration, account development and account growth

  • Ability to interface within a multi-brand sales organization including brand sellers, portfolio sellers and business partners

  • Demonstrated communication skills, a positive attitude, a team player, and the ability to achieve set targets.

  • Demonstrated forecasting skills and good command of marketplace

This position is on-site at IBM in Blue Bell or Philadelphia, PA.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 4 years' experience in technology sales

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Mobility, SaaS, and/or Security related industries

  • Knowledge of Security technologies and trends

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • At least 1 year experience in Security Software sales

  • At least 1 year experience selling Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and/or Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions
