IBM Security Analyst - Student - Trusteer in GIVATAYIM, Israel

Job Description

IBM Security Trusteer protects global financial institutions against account takeover and additional web fraud threats. We are seeking a motivated student to join Trusteer’s security operations team, part of Trusteer’s threat intelligence group. The role requires analysis capabilities along with accuracy and responsibility.

We are looking for people who are passionate about security, with a drive to stay current and appraised within the ever-changing cyber security landscape.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Analysis of online banking threats (such as account take over, phishing attacks, etc.) and financial fraud

  • First line of response and reaction to fraud attacks for IBM’s global customers

  • Incorporate analysis results into Trusteer’s cloud-based fraud detection and end-point solution products. this includes creating and updating rule sets for real-time threats detection and mitigation

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Must be admitted student in a recognized academic institute in Israel with at least 3 semesters left to graduation

  • Availability to work in 8-hour shifts, for at least 4 shifts a week (including weekend and holiday shifts)

  • Fluent English (verbal and written)

  • Experience working with SQL databases

  • Strong technical and analytical approach

  • Multi-tasking person, able to work under pressure and independently

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Excellent customer facing and communication skills

  • Scripting experience

  • Experience working for a global company (cybersecurity/fraud)
