IBM Solution Sales Representative (m/f) in Frankfurt, Germany

Job Description

The Sales Representative Digital Workplace and Network Services is responsible for developing Digital Workplace and Network Services solutions that address client’s business needs and deliver client value while supporting Digital Workplace and Network Transformation specific business strategies. You will work to create solutions which are tailored to client’s business needs and integrate the IBM Digital Workplace capabilities in a way that is valued by the customer and superior to the competition.

You should be able to

  • Understand IBM's sales messaging and communicate effectively to Customers and Partners at C-Suite level

  • Effectively and independently deliver the IBM vision & value proposition for the given solution, demonstrating a keen

  • Understanding of market conditions, competitive landscape and clients’ business goals and pressures

  • Represent IBM in a professional way and continually demonstrate a sound technical understanding of our solutions and the needs of our customers to display our key differentiator over the competition; Demonstrate products, features and functions as a means to developing and progressing opportunities

  • Uncover new business opportunities and have no hesitations when it comes to new contacts

  • Prepare proposals and present them at customer meetings

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual target

  • Manage & orchestrate the IBM Team for the customer and ensure a common account strategy for the customers

  • Continuous learning and education to develop sales skills and better understand Customer industries and business

  • Represent the company to our Customers in the most professional way and continually ensure the delivery of operational excellence within every engagement

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Expertise:

• Sales experience including cold calling (> 5 years)

• Experience in negotiating complex deals

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Dynamic and positive approach to work with a strong desire to succeed

• Good understanding of the current and future direction of the IT market in relation to Workplace Transformation Requirements, Future Network Solutions, Internet of Things, cognitive, cloud, service - cross industry

• Ability to manage several sales cycles, of varying sizes, at once

• Demonstrable planning, time management and organizational skills in international environments

• Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work from own initiative

• German and English fluent
