Global Markets Territory Services Leader (TSL) has responsibility for business development across the IBM Services portfolio within a designated Enterprise Business Unit. TSL supports the Client team and Commercial Sales Leader working directly with E&C clients to identify and validate “net new” Services opportunities. TSL will focus on IBM Industry Solutions and that have been developed for State & Local Government, Education, Healthcare and Life Science industries. Majority of focus will be on launching plays for emerging solutions from Watson Health and Cognitive delivered on IBM Cloud Platforms. Services portfolio includes all offerings within GBS, GTS, Cloud, Analytics, Mobility and Security. TSL will provide thought leadership and guidance to Client Execs and Commercial Sales Leader on Services Strategy and key plays to support meetings with C suite executives. TSL will lead the execution of the Enterprise Services plan with primary responsibility for identifying and prioritizing opportunities and developing client-valued solutions involving multiple brands and elements. The role involves opportunity identification and collaboration with the extended Services and Software Brand team to progress deals for all IBM Solutions (i.e. cloud. SaaS, services) leveraging IBM’s Cognitive and Watson sales teams.
Demonstrate high level of business acumen and apply a thorough understanding of the client’s culture, business, organization, strategy and financial position
Collaborate across IBM Business Units, leveraging other subject matter experts as needed to deliver maximum client value
Work with Enterprise Sales Manager to develop Quarterly Services Roadmap.
Understand IBM Services Portfolio and how these translate into solutions which address client needs.
Promote IBM’s industry and Watson Health solutions via thought leadership to develop current and future services opportunities.
