Description

Drive strategy and implementation plan for training State and Local Government Health and Human Services clients of IBM Watson Health healthcare data analysis solutions. Working in partnership with client services teams, lead the design and delivery of training activities for clients. Design and develop a training curriculum for Watson Health staff to prepare them to effectively support the full range of client learning and support needs.

Responsibilities

Identify and assess future and current training needs across the business areas affected

Develop training and development plans that address client needs and expectations

Leverage and enhance existing training programs where feasible

Design and develop courses in partnership with subject matter experts and third party suppliers

Deploy a wide variety of training methods

Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions

Diagnose learning needs and barriers in individuals and groups and implement innovative solutions to address these

Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness and ROI periodically

Revise training offerings and courses in response to client and staff feedback

Develop, maintain and manage a training curriculum to support analytic career progression

Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in a related field involving mathematical or analytic science, education, etc.

Proven work experience designing and executing successful training programs

Minimum 10 years of combined experience in healthcare analytics and learning and development

5+ years of healthcare analytic experience including use of tools such as Cognos, Tableau, SPSS, Advantage Suite, etc.

3+ years of learning and development experience including curriculum development and delivery of complex trainings using traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, webinars, etc.)

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.

Demonstrated mentoring and talent management skills

Ability to successfully plan, determine priorities, and complete multiple tasks concurrently

Ability to travel up to 50% of time

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
