The SSR provides hardware support to customers and assumes responsibility for customer satisfaction within the assigned area of responsibility.
He understands the impact of hardware problem on the customer's business and delivers effective and fast problem resolution.
The SSR provides support to both customers and colleagues for problem determination and resolution as well as on-site support to clients for complex support issues as required. The SSR engages promptly to solve all tickets in SLA. When required the SSR uses his extensive experience and expertise to complement action plan provided by remote support to drive problem problem solving in due time.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Excellent hands-on hardware skills for IBM and Lenovo Intel-based systems with at least 10 years of prior experience.
Extensive experience with service and maintenance for the following IBM systems: tape libraries, Blade Center Chassis, System X, Flex System Chassis, Flex System Compute Nodes.
Extensive experience with service and maintenance for the following Intel-based non-IBM systems: DELL, HP, CISCO (CBS), Hitachi.
Extensive experience with service and maintenance for laptops and desktops manufactured by IBM, Lenovo, HP, Dell, Panasonic, Acer, Toshiba.
Extensive experience with service and maintenance for POSes, ATMs, Printers, UPSes.
Must hold Romanian citizenship and speak Romanian fluently. Must be familiar with IBM TSS support systems and procedures. The list of systems includes, but is not limited to RCMS , RETAIN and OCPM.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Native Romanian speaker or fluent in Romanian language.
Must hold Romanian citizenship.
Must have a valid driver license with at least 15 years of experience.
