As Windows System Administrator your day to day tasks will cover advanced administration of MS Windows server based operating systems as Windows Server 2008/2012 , connected services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory) , infrastructure (VMware) and Middleware (IIS, MS, SQL) related to distributed server systems.We offer possibility to learn and grow to the position of architect or another technology specialist, practice experience connected with support of various new SW/HW technologies used in enterprise area and cooperation with IBM worldwide SL community. Your day to day activities will include:

  • Troubleshooting of complex and difficult environment problems

  • Applying requests for service, complex environment, system configuration changes

  • Applying problem management and defect prevention practices

  • Configuration, installation and upgrade tasks within the distributed systems environment

  • Resources planning, operations and cooperation on application of projects for continual environment and procedures improvement

  • Dealing with vendors regarding problems solving or with internal expertise groups

  • 8am to 10pm 2 shift model and sometimes on call service

How should your profile look like?

  • 2 years of MS Windows 2008/2012 server administration experience (at least dozens of servers in different sites connected via WAN), Vmware, MSSQL

  • Good skills and experience in problem determination, analysis and resolution

  • Very good knowledge in designing and implementing of backup and disaster recovery concepts, security strategies, high-availability and virtualization solutions

  • Know-how in server based computing (Citrix, MS Terminal Services)

  • Experienced in HW design and troubleshooting (IBM, HP, COMPAQ, DELL)

  • Very good scripting skills

  • Strong leadership and communication skills- Very good presentation and documentation skills

  • Project management knowledge

  • ITIL knowledge
