IBM Middleware IT Specialist - 2nd/3rd level support in BRNO, Czech Republic

Job Description

Management and administration of various middleware products such as Oracle WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, IBM WebSphere MQ

Your job will be

  • to take care of all the middleware products that we support (installation, upgrade and maintenance)

  • design, develop and maintain configuration and tooling for various accounts

  • solve customer technical and functional issues

  • meet high availability and performance goals according to our SLA (Incident, Change, Service Request)

  • ensure integration with underlying platform and with logging, monitoring and alerting systems

  • maintain and contribute to improvement of all services such as documentation, scripts and automation

You should have

  • skills and knowledge of various middleware products

  • good knowledge to work with multiple platforms (AIX, LINUX, WINDOWS) and different architecture

  • knowledge of TCP/IP based computer networks and common internet protocols

  • operating system general knowledge: processes, network configuration, performance of resources (memory, cpu), filesystems/disks, files - rights, users...

  • good knowledge of shell scripting

  • no problem to participate in 24x7 on-call support

It is nice if you have

  • experience with agile environment

  • experience working with various middleware technologies in enterprise and commercial environment


  • English (Required)

  • French (Advantage)
