What would be your role?

Reporting to the Robotics Lead, you will be responsible for controlling the “digital workforce”; ensuring resources are most effectively deployed to deliver a high-quality efficient operation. You will ensure that your colleagues understand and leverage the full capability of the robotic process automation (RPA) solution to maximize quality delivery and operational efficiency.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaise with IT leaders to ensure that the serviced, supported and secure technical environment scales in line with business demand

  • Leverage and improve the framework that underpins the delivery of process automation and ongoing scheduling, monitoring and evolution of the automated processes to increase and improve business value

  • Oversee the quality delivery of RPA solutions in accordance with the agreed methodology to achieve a consistent high standard of configuration

  • Where appropriate, delegate responsibility for delivery of individual processes to assigned configuration specialist (development)

  • Manage the automated processes on a daily basis to ensure they are scheduled in line with services level agreements (SLAs) and that exceptions, referrals and system outages are handled appropriately

  • Understand system and business change cycles to ensure automated processes are proactively amended to reflect changes

  • Distribute appropriate information (data) about bot performance so that the business benefit and usage can be proactively tracked, monitored and refined.

  • A self-starter who can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and gain a functional understanding

  • Able to work with version control and ticketing system

  • Able to identify needs for exception handling and logging code.

  • Strong technical or consulting skills including understanding of software development principle

  • Ability to handle multiple clients and multiple team members with confidence

  • Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving

  • A track record in training and mentoring individuals on development and delivery disciplines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • Related experience or exposure to one or more of the following: QA, development, release management, business analysis, automation, etc.

  • Strong background in software development .Net, Java, Etc.

  • Certified in automation tools – eg. BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, VBA Macros, etc.

  • Experience with IBM infrastructure and working with CIO.
