The BigFix TOP Sales Specialist will is a valued Sales Leader who has unique subject matter expertise in Endpoint Security and Operations. He/She will understand and be able to convey the value that IBM provides clients with the BigFix platform. This includes the ability to streamline operational processes as well as enhance the security of the endpoint.

The TOP Sales Specialist will be a member of a team of other Sales Reps with similar responsibilities and report into North America's Above Market Security organization. This individual will work with the North America Markets in driving Competitive replacement revenue or upsell revenue in strategic accounts. Strong Written and Verbal communications skills are critical as this person will be interfacing with a diverse set of clients, IBMers and partners.

Also, in this role, the candidate will be working closely with the following areas: Managers in the Client Success Organization, Offering Management, Sales Leaders, Technical Leads and Support Renewal Reps.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Presenting our Endpoint Security strategy and it's relevance in the overall IBM Security Strategy

  • Developing and Leading Strategic Take-out plans

  • Develop and Lead Strategic Account upsell opportunities

  • Becoming an SME for the operational impact of the BigFix platform as well as the value provided to the Security team

  • Understanding the competitive landscape in Endpoint Security and the key differentiators of the BigFix platform

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in presenting our Endpoint Security strategy and it's relevance in the overall IBM Security Strategy

  • Experience in developing and Leading Strategic Take-out plans

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Becoming an SME for the operational impact of the BigFix platform as well as the value provided to the Security team

  • Understanding the competitive landscape in Endpoint Security and the key differentiators of the BigFix platform
