IBM IBM security Consultant - Data (Guardium) in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Job Description

Product Professional Services deploying and supporitng customer deployment of the Guardium suite of security products . You will be part of a growing IBM Lab services security team Implementing Guardiums' complete set of services which compliment all of the Guardium product functionality. You will be ensuring successful enterprise customer implementations in a timely manner as well as other Guardium consultancy product related responsibilities which could include assistance upgrading and installed solution , knowledge transfer and installed environment reviews.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience with SQL language,

  • Knowledge and understanding of relational databases

  • General understanding of big data cloud architecture and environments

  • Knowledge and experience working in UNIX, linux , windows environments

  • understanding of enterprise application environment architecture

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Guardium industry experience is a bonus

  • Understanding Network and product software security concepts is desirable ,

  • Knowledge and experience with enterprise architecture ,

  • Knowledge of and experience with Z/OS environments is a bonus

  • Knowledge of and experience with Java Scripting and XPath is a bonus

  • Knowledgeable and experience with Big Data technology and environments is desirable

  • Knowledgeable and experience with cloud environments is desirable

  • Security experience is desirable

  • Experience with production deployments. Guardium product deployments are a bonus

  • Project management experience is desirable.

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with database environments such as Oracle, Informix, SQL Server, UDB/DB2, Informix, Mysql, Teradata and/or Sybase is desirable

  • Knowledge of and experience with UNIX shell environments. UNIX scripting and Perl programming desirable, * Knowledge and experience with oworking on UNIX , Linux and windows environments
