As a Global Energy, Environment and Utilities SAP Transformation Manager, you will have an excellent knowledge of SAP CR&B solutions and new innovations in SAP and the Global Utilities Industry. You will lead the SAP CR&B / Utility Industry sales discussions with clients to clearly demonstrate the business benefits of SAP CR&B, crafting and supporting the SAP CR&B implementation process. You will be aware of the SAP CR&B roadmap differences between releases and new innovations that are brought in in each of the SAP CR&B releases, and should be familiar with new cloud offerings (e.g., SAP Hybris) from SAP. In this role, you will be knowledgeable of required SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules and SAP's Business Intelligence platforms. This role requires excellent oral and written communication and strong client service skills.
Proficiency in developing channel and client relationships, identifying and closing new business, and developing SAP CR&B thought leadership within IBM as well as a visionary outlook in SAP are required. This is a challenging global role in a complex environment. Responsibilities include providing advice and counsel to clients, market leading thought leadership, and active contribution for delivery success and client satisfaction.
In this role, you will:
Serve as the SAP CR&B thought leader and as a SME for solutioning in the Global Energy, Environment and Utilities industry;
Participate in the sales pursuits cycle as well as execution of projects;
Support GBS Partners in SAP CR&B globally with existing and new EE&U Industry accounts;
Support the identification, development, and closure of SAP CR&B sales efforts in support of an identified sales targets;
Provide industry guidance, strategies, and SAP CR&B best practices;
Maintain industry references, approaches, IBM contacts and competitive analysis, in support of both general industry solutions and specific solutions;
Build and lead internal communities of IBM industry practitioners;
Lead or contribute to the creation of IBM positions and strong POVs on specific SAP CR&B industry topics;
Define, develop and use repeatable non-traditional consulting industry solutions; and,
Transfer knowledge to local IBM teams through training and side-by-side engagement work.
Preferred candidates will have:
Strong client network and strong team network, extensive current SAP sales and delivery experience;
Deep understanding and experience with the SAP CR&B (SAP’s Utilities Industry Solution for Customer Relations and Billing);
Deep understanding of Customer Service Processes in the Utilities Industry;
Proven track record of sales and delivery for SAP Energy & Utilities projects for more than 5 years, preferably 10 years;
Project Management experience on large scale SAP implementations;
Business development and delivery experience with SAP Utilities;
Proven ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales;
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment;
Strong stakeholder management skills
This position will require significant global travel.
