Job Description


IBM z/OS is a widely-used mainframe operating system designed for a stable, secure and highly available environment. z/OS offers security to protect sensitive information and assets. With resiliency, scalability, and speed, z/OS helps exceed availability and response time objectives for business applications. The project is to deliver the next-gen z/OS experience to attract new users and reduce the learning curve.


Own development and delivery of designs for a project or sub-project.

Communicate up through their product line or team.

Reache out to peers to seek critique to align across project teams.

Help less experienced team members support the design direction.

Have exposure to multiple projects.

Completes assigned work independently.

Accountable for decisions at the project level.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Professional experience in UX design (3+ years)

T-shaped skills across research, interaction design, visual design, mastering at least one discipline.

Strong critical thinking, problem framing, problem-solving, and craft skills.

Ability to encourage cross-functional team collaboration. Seek new responsibilities proactively, show maturity and diplomacy, and create opportunities for others.

Strong project management skills in addition to individual design work.

Excellent written and verbal interaction skills

Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Strong focus on client success.
