This is the Lead role for Functional Testing activities related to the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade. This individual will manage the entire functional testing effort from system testing, integration testing, UAT testing, and simulated production testing. They will be responsible for leading the testing team and providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members. They are expected to work with end-users and project team to clarify end-user requirements and business requirements as they relate to testing. They will develop the testing strategy, work plan, resource requirements and project schedule for the functional testing effort. They are to be responsible for reporting testing results, status and exceptions to management, and to identify opportunities to minimize project risks and escalate as appropriate.
The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Baton Rouge. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel up to 50% of the time. No remote opportunities exist.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Min 8 Years Configuration Experience with PeopleSoft HCM or 8+ years as a Super User
At least one role as a Test Lead or Test Manager on a large-scale, PeopleSoft HCM Implementation
Ability to develop necessary Test Plans, Strategies and Processes
Must be able to lead others, including non-IBM resources in testing efforts
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visa
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Knowledge of University or Public Sector HCM Processes
Certification in Testing or Software QA (CSTE, CSQA, CMST, CSQE)
Certification as an HR Professional
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Experience with collaboration tools such as Sharepoint or Jira
