Marketing & Communications Operations (MCO) Specialists supports business strategies and goals to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness, transformational change and operational transactions for the Marketing & Communications function.
This roles includes but is not limited to resource management, resource and budget allocations, digital metrics, and other internal IBM Marketing tracking tools for resources. This role is also responsible for the business controls process and compliance. Consistency across the organization is required to reduce the risk for a business controls exposure. Additionally, this role will support the management of education initiatives including new hire on-boarding and a wide array of other activities, as needed.
This position will be located in IBM offices in Austin, Texas.
Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3+ years experience working with Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail
Previous experience working in an operations, finance, or analytical role
Ability to multitask and change direction based on rapidly-changing business needs
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Experience with Operational Management Systems using appropriate Analytical tools
Strong Financial or Analytical background
Degree in Marketing or Finance
Previous experience in a Marketing function is a plus
