Global Talent Acquisition Leader

We are looking to identify a Global Talent Acquisition Leader to manage one of IBM's most critical business segments. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, North America this individual will be responsible for TA strategy, delivery and execution of the US hiring plan & collaboration with geographies. The role will develop and lead hiring initiatives to meet overall business talent acquisition goals. This is a high impact role requiring exceptional partner skills with demonstrated ability and experience to execute recruiting strategy, influence stakeholder, provide insight into talent market to take the best approach, and deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage segmented (professional, delivery, early professional) hiring for business unit(s) supported.

  • Project management and design (when applicable) in effective hiring processes/staffing plans to meet changing business needs.

  • Directly manage resources and execution for US hiring for the business sub segment.

  • Function as a point of contact for the business, HR, North America Talent Acquisition Leader and other key stakeholders.

  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews for deep dive on recruiting performance and activity for business & stakeholders.

  • Use agile principles to execute demand to forecast backlog and fulfill hiring targets.

  • Providing leadership, appreciation, coaching and evaluation to recruiting teams.

  • Work with Sourcing team and Leaders to ensure successful differentiated hiring is achieved with improved client and candidate.

  • Partner with business and finance/HR to align on methodologies and accuracy of talent demand and headcount management.

  • Hold weekly and monthly team meetings as well as regular 1:1’s with team recruiters, consistently engage with HR and clients for business continuity and planning.

  • Own getting the right people, skills into the right roles. This should include strategic understanding, planning and coaching for the manager on what they need i.e. scoping the hiring.

  • Drive partnership of US execution and early professional college hiring execution plan.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience managing and leading large recruiting teams

  • 5-7+ years related experience in Talent Acquisition/Staffing

  • Experience in Management Consulting, Professional Services, Healthcare, HCIT, M&A, technology industry sector
