IBM Identity and Access Management (IAM) Strategy/Analyst Lead in ARMONK, New York

The IBM CIO Identity Services organization (based in Armonk, NY) is looking to hire an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Strategist/Analyst to help further develop and enhance our IAM Strategy. CIO Identity Services plays a key role in delivering most of the IAM services to the rest of the IBM Corporation.

Job Duties:

· Support the Identity & Access Management (IAM) organization within the IBM CIO with "thought leading" IAM analysis, guidance and advice.

· Leverage experience to assess the current IAM maturity and help develop improvement plans to address any identified gaps.

· Contribute to the assessment of current IAM capabilities and explore/evaluate the impact of new technologies on current/future strategies.

· Help develop a comprehensive IAM strategy which includes:

o internal/external identity (authentication)

o application/server access management (authorization)

o identity governance and administration (IGA)

o identity/user account provisioning

o password management and directory services

o public key infrastructure and digital certificates

o risk based access

· Clearly communicate strategy and analysis with clients and team members at multiple levels of the organization.

· Assist in deploying new IAM products and integrating them with existing products to improve business operations and reduce security risks.

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 8+ years of experience with IAM capabilities, including authentication, authorization, user provisioning and risk-based access control.

  • Experience with developing IAM strategies and implementing IAM solutions for complex enterprise environments with diverse user populations.

  • Experience with one or more IAM solutions such as Azure Active Directory (AD), Okta, Ping Identity, Centrify, OneLogin, etc.

  • Experience with cloud technologies and deployment models.

  • Experience in consulting and communicating with clients at multiple levels of an organization.

  • Knowledge of IAM protocols, for example SAML, OIDC, SSL/TLS, HTTP, Kerberos, S/MIME, SCIM and OAuth.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Experience with cloud technologies and deployment models.

  • Knowledge of SecDevOps and agile methodologies.

  • Experience with IAM Analytics.

  • Experience with web development and testing.

  • Experience with scripting languages.

  • Strong security background.

  • Knowledge of IT Risk and Security concepts, procedures and processes.Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
