IBM Finance is seeking a CHQ Compensation Analyst who will be responsible for the design and quarterly coordination of employee and executive compensation plans. Also, responsible for the year-end closeout with backup for variable compensation programs (adjustments, materiality of new items), support for executive committee presentation / calendar / reviews with financial representative prior to Board of Director meetings, equity compensation input to plan / forecast and financial modeling, and acting as the resource focal point for resources, weekly reporting, plans, and forecast.
The analyst role is responsible for the analysis of the IBM forecast, budget, actuals, and business dynamics. The analyst is responsible for interacting with the business units and geographies on the forecast, actuals, budget and business metrics. The analyst is responsible for the development of forecast and budget variance analysis and provides business assessments on an on going basis. The analyst designs, prepares, and presents detailed analysis of business issues and recommended solutions to senior management. The employee leads a functional/business unit. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5-10 years’ experience in finance working in a matrixed environment across multiple geographies.
Fluent in English, both oral and written.
Ability to anticipate, create and define innovative and visionary concepts in strategic environment.
Proven ability to identify issues and implement change.
