As an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant within our Business Architect and Transformation (BA&T) group, you'll have the unique opportunity to be a part of driving IBM’s ongoing transformation.
Our consultants drive large-scale change that spans IBM business units, functions, and geographies. You will work directly with internal clients on key initiatives to understand their business issues, define opportunities, define success metrics, develop the project approaches and implement complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
Job Duties :
As a Business Architect and Transformation - Organizational Change Management Consultant, you will:
Utilize BA&T’s methods and tools to help develop and execute the end-to-end OCM strategy for transformation initiatives, ensuring the alignment of OCM activities to the overall project timeline
Develop and deploy OCM activities, such as change impact assessments, communications materials, training programs, change adoption measurement, and readiness surveys
Drive the development of specific deliverables within your project and support the overall management of project timelines
Provide support and stakeholder management for large projects that include stakeholders from across the enterprise
Prepare for and support the facilitation of workshops with stakeholders and sponsors to identify key pain points, prioritize actions, draft solutions, and attain buy-in for key actions
Gain exposure to executives by developing briefings and presentations
Become an advocate for the Agile transformation of the enterprise by practicing Agile behaviors and ways of working on project teams
Commit to continuous learning and improvement of core consulting skills by setting and pursuing stretch goals
Contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, recruiting, community involvement, etc.
Lead project and complex work streams with cross-functional teams, defining the approach, engaging with clients, and delivering project outcomes
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
This is a highly visible internal, consulting position in support of IBM's future state enterprise transformation program. Experience in business consulting required. This team directly supports IBM’s internal enterprise transformation by identifying candidate opportunities, assessing their risks and benefits, and supporting selected project implementations.
3+ years of organizational change management consulting experience or applicable experience in communications or Human Resources
