In this role, you will serve as the analytics leader for the IBM Watson Customer Engagement (WCE) Marketing platform and products. As both leader and practitioner, you will leverage data and analysis of key metrics (campaigns, configurations, monitors/alerts, etc) powered via the WCE Marketing platform to provide actionable insights and recommendations that will influence Clients’ strategic decisions. You will work collaboratively across the marketing services group to lead the charge on developing and enhancing data-driven approaches to customer engagement through rigorous experimentation. Additionally, you will assist in bringing advanced modeling opportunities to services through use of data scientists.
Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor performance KPIs for online marketing activities and changes in trends, share insightsand make recommendations to the client and services team
Integrate disparate data sources to form a cohesive picture around the performance ofmarketing programs
Identify common client challenges and opportunities to develop new services offerings
Collaborate with key stakeholders on how to best leverage analytics to construct dashboardsand reporting mechanisms in order to inform better business decisions and optimizationrecommendations
Effectively utilize both quantitative and qualitative techniques on ROI-modeling, consumerprofiling/predictive modeling, segmentation and offer conversion optimizationTesting
Commitment to a “test and learn” philosophy, with usage of A/B and multivariate methodologies
Collaborate with other teams to develop, manage, and deliver marketing and website testing strategies andonline optimization roadmap of tests (including headlines, copy, value propositions, and calls toaction to improve conversions)
Understand business users’ needs and translate them to technical requirements for PMO and Architect resources for Client implementation/enablement.
Work Location: Preferably Atlanta, GA or Costa Mesa, CA. There is the possibility of working remote.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, or technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree)
8 - 10 years of web analytics experience, agency and/or client side preferably experience with enterprise consumer-facing web site (supporting Testing & Optimization, marketing, etc.)
Deep experience in web analytics tools, including Tealeaf, Coremetrics, Adobe and/or Google Analytics 360 Suite preferred, experience working with granular web clickstream data is a plus
Ability to ask the right questions to understand the business problem, identify the measurement or business objective and translate it to the client or services team
Strong knowledge of current best practices and standards to provide direction to web site developers/producers on tagging and tracking parameter methods
