This is an exciting time to join a growing team of IBM Cloud Services.IBM is looking for a specialized individual to join our cloud managed services sales team.In this role, the Seller will be responsible for the coordination and successful execution of all required sales related activities within an assigned territory and or set of accounts to achieve assigned financial sales objectives. This role is focused on generating new Opportunities and expanding IBM's cloud services penetration into existing IBM accounts.Activities include working with and leveraging other IBM client facing teams to create demand, identify opportunities, qualify opportunities, and then directly executing high quality professional engagements that result in winning opportunities that achieve assigned targets while providing high value customer solutions.The Seller will represent all IBM Cloud Services portfolio's, which include both managed and unmanaged cloud services offerings, which will include, but are not limited to: Softlayer, IBM Cloud Managed Services, BlueBox, VMWare on Softlayer, Bluemix, CleverSafe, Watson on Softlayer and Internet-of-Things on Softlayer.The ideal candidate will need to have a passion for the value that IBM's ever increasingly broad portfolio of cloud services and can bring it to the market place, and in turn; with their customers. In addition, here at IBM, we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, the ability to collaborate with teams within IBM and its external partners and who is a creative problem solver who's open to change. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work in complex, matrix managed organizational environments.The Cloud Services Sales Specialist will be coordinating with the Cloud services technical teams, IBM client teams, IBM business partners on a daily basis.
