IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center located in Yorktown Heights, NY expects to hire a Research Staff Member in the Soft Matter Science Department. The position will involve contributing to ongoing research program in protein science and biomolecular simulations. We are interested in candidates with deep theoretical or technical knowledge in relevant aspects of computational chemistry and computational biology, including but not limited to modeling and simulation methods, large scale simulations, data analysis, and structural interpretation. Outstanding communication skills, ability to interact with a technically diverse team and excellent publication record are critical. The ideal candidate should have some prior experience and credentials in computational biology, cancer immunology, and particularly molecular modeling. Specific research areas of experience would include high performance computing (parallel computing), molecular dynamics simulation, protein folding, protein-protein interaction, and protein-ligand binding. The experience with T cell receptors modeling is a big plus.
