Receives requests for transportation from authorized aircraft users and initiates the scheduling process. Assigns appropriate aircraft and crew to IBM include employees and contractors. Coordinates airports, FBOs, fuel, departure and arrival times, arrival and departure slots. Sets up supplemental lift with charter aircraft and fractional operations. Tracks crew currency and training requirements. Arranges crew hotel reservations. Coordinates TSA waivers and approvals for DCA operations, and US Customs permits and Electronic Advance Passenger Information System (eAPIS). Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and non-business hours.
Must be willing to occasionally travel to coordinate multiple aircraft movements.
Minimum of 3 years of aircraft dispatching experience to include working knowledge of meteorology, aircraft performance, ATC system, and TSA and US Customs processes.
Travel is occasional, perhaps 2 times per year
