The GBS University Recruiting Manager is responsible to identify, communicate and mitigate risks to achieving hiring goals. • Continue to develop/refine university hiring strategies across Commercial + Public Sectors and any other areas of influence• Support, promote and execute actions regarding GBS recruiting strategies of improved candidate experience, streamlined process, accelerated hiring and shared accountability.• Ensure management team follows sourcing plan which allows for intake fromsources in addition to visit schools, as well as balanced intake throughout all four quarters of the year.
• Achieve recruiting process metric targets in the following areas:O Solicit referrals from top talent to better leverage the referral channel for university hires.O Take actions to maximize efficiencies in the recruiting process •Cultivate relationships with core schools to strengthen alignments andultimately increase number of hires.• Ensure quality execution of all university hiring events, working to build IBM GBS brand on campus and maximize quality applicant flow.• Continuously improve team’s recruiting process, to deliver an efficientcost-effective university and intern program.• Work with management team to ensure hiring targets are fully assigned across the RPM team. • Manage monthly recruiting expenses from all teams. Ensure spend is at or under budget. Actively look for opportunities to reduce spend• Ensure management team maintains candidate data up to date and accurate in the GBS Candidate Management database and GOM on a weekly basis, to allow for tracking and documentation of applicant progress in the interview process. • Promote recognition of IBM GBS as premier employer of choice in themarketplace, among campus institutions, as well as with channel partners • Ensure teams are consistently utilizing social computing capabilities andTools to better engage candidates; generate interest in GBS employment; and promote job opportunities. • Ensure interview events are managed with a high level of partner and candidate satisfaction. Utilize HireVue for virtual interviews when possible. • Establish effective relationships with clients and other partners, andimplement a management system to keep them informed on recruiting strategies,procedures and results. • Earn consistently high levels of satisfaction from my designatedorganizations. Validate satisfaction through feedback.• Support Diversity strategies, channels and tactics to ensure balanced pipeline of talent.
*Ensure all employees have completed 40 hours of Professional Development education. (Think40) and GBS 24.
*Conduct interim performance feedback reviews with all IBM regular employees
• Timely and accurately execute and comply with all IBM and GBS policies,procedures and administrative requirements and trainingTravel as required during peak seasons (normally around 25% but up to 100% if required)Required work location is: Washington, DC metro area.
2-3 years campus university recruiting experience
Must live in a reasonable commutable distance (generally 20 miles or less) of the DC Metro Area.
